Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

I am thankful for the following:
- The ones who are close to me that live close by ~ they have been patient, understanding  & supportive, gone through a lot of good & bad times together & managed to get this far together, can tack on another year together.
- Family: First off, family is what you make of it & who you consider them as family - it doesn't necessarily have to relate to blood family ties. The family I'm thankful for I have strong bonds I've kept with them, they are the ones who help me first understood the meaning of 'friendships'. Regardless of the good & bad moments, they can be the ones that you can turn to.
- Old friendships that have lasted this long: Online & Offline. No matter how distant we do grow w/ other life events or locations we're all at, that we haven't forgotten that we still have a friend somewhere out there.
- New friendships that have been made this year: Online & Offline. Shared interests we've had led to being friends, we laugh, we enjoy each other's company & we are full of hope that these new found friendships will continue to grow for years to come.

There's plenty I can continue to list but I might be here all day. Hopefully you know what you're thankful for today. After-all, today is not a day to be focusing on all the bad things going on in your life because there's someone out there that will always have it worse than you & to focus on the good ones because its the good ones that help you reflect on how fortunate your life has been as the end of the 2014 year approaches. Be safe out there & enjoy the company those you consider your loved ones, family & friends today. Remember those who you are loved, those that have passed & others that can't be here to celebrate w/ you, rest assured - they are celebrating in spirit w/ you. Once again - I wish everyone, a Happy Thanksgiving.

CherBear's Thoughts: October into November

I hope everyone had a wonderful Happy Halloween. Plenty to talk about I guess but I will sum it down.

Ongoing at home: Passed out candy during Halloween, things have been more or less tough but I guess I have to push through & still looking for work but no bites. But on the upside, one less thing owed so hopefully I won't stress out as much. Been going out to meet ups. 

Online Gaming: Temporarily putting my WoW account on ice, will either return if I get the expansion or for a little bit during the anniversary. Audition Online: I come go when the wind blows. mStar: its been lonely without my sis coaxing me to go online. WoT MM has been meh. 

Tabletop Gaming: Coming on a year, we've picked up some stable players hopefully.

Video Games: Would like to Alpha Sapphire for Pokemon. Downloading some demos to try out & might trade or sell some older games I don't play for either the new pokemon game or maybe Harvest Moon/Tomodachii Life or something else.

Artwork: Been working on old artwork, sketching on some new artwork, posting colored artwork, been working on projects for an organization in attempts to fund a convention here which has kept me busy too. Slowly but surely going through messages.

Emotionally: I've been going through highs and lows.

Past that ... we'll see how things go as we're technically within the holiday season. So by all means, please stay safe, happy & well out there.

CherBear's Thoughts: My deviantART story

So I've seen this since I have been catching up on my messages & I figured I'd share a little bit of my story. 

I've always been doing art for all my life & it was either encouraged or discouraged but eventually I kept at it with my artwork. 

Some stuff was supposedly published, some contests I've participated I had won & some were losses but I had learned from them.

During that time I've been complimented over my skill & was asked if I was going to pursue it, but at the time I wasn't sure & looking back, I probably should have actively looked into it.

For those who know more to me - my deviantART story technically started a little earlier, but I will pick it up when I started this account...it was when I started getting into online gaming. It was when I used an old nickname my friends called me & it became more my online persona than my previous. 

It started to pick up more when I got more into the community. Drawing MMO characters & my MMO characters which eventually became my OCs. I shifted from one game to another, kept going & it came to a point where communities I posted valued & featured my artwork one way or another. 

With time...I've gotten random messages of people thanking me for inspiring them, asking about art related things & people I didn't even know who recognized me, making realize that people have been watching me from afar when I had moments where I keep asking myself "Why do I keep doing this?".

I've had plenty of inspiration from other artists & gotten helpful tips from people I do look up to. There's so many to list & I can't begin to even try to. Even when I do, I don't wanna put anyone on the spot, but I do thank you & I thank those who continue to encourage me to keep at my artwork. 

Even though I've had some self doubts & took a few step backs, I somehow moved forward. I've achieved what I can so far & continue to strive to improve, hoping to continue to make more memories & achieve more milestones - ultimately hoping to continue to inspire others. 

Before I was intimidated by artists who I think are just amazing but I take that intimidation & turn it around, tried to get better & I'm slowly getting there - looking at my old artwork & looking at my current stuff, I think I am. After 6 years on this account, I look forward to more & posting more.

I thank again those who have encouraged & inspired me, to those who gave me tips & helped me, & others that think I am good at what I do because without that, I'm not sure I could have made it this far.

CherBear's Thoughts: End of September

End of September ...

I honestly am not sure where the time went or the nature of it. It was either warm which made things slow & I had minor hiccups on my laptop. I've been also keeping busy but haven't been working on other things I did want to.

I do have some artwork made but not too much was queued up on deviantART. I'll hopefully change that with October just around the corner.

Thank you, once again, for the birthday wishes. I can't stress that enough. I just hope when the weather starts cooling down I can continue to be a little bit more productive. 

I am catching up, slowly but surely but at the same time realizing I have somewhat of a active life as of recent I've been out more, or maybe due to some stupid tension I've been experiencing in the house too. Anyways...

I am happy w/ the fall season shows returning, Doctor Who, Person of Interest, Big Bang Theory, Hawaii Five-0 etc.

Anime has been fun to watch, been watching Sailor Moon Crystal, Sailor Moon, Free! Eternal Summer & Sword Art Online 2 to name a few.

Other than that -- I will share more thoughts of expectations I am aiming for October. Take care folks!

CherBear's Thoughts: Thanks for the BDay Wishes

Keeping it short & sweet considering that I am busy today. I wanted to take the time to say thank you.

Yes my birthday was yesterday & you guys wished me a Happy Birthday in some way shape or form, whether it was text, phone calls, messages on whichever social media you choose to contact me on & trust me, I do appreciate it deeply. 

The day was indeed interesting, reuniting with old friends, being out with others & just receiving well wishes all day long. 

I have been busy drawing, coloring & creating, the past 19 days of working on random artworks have been good. Having folks smile & be happy over lil things that were made for them has always brought a smile to me. 

Some say that the people say the ones who really care call you directly & those who use social media or lil reminders of someone else's birthday because it feels meaningless...a knee jerk reaction response to auto-response. I dunno, I feel that isn't necessarily truly the case. Because even though I do get reminders / notifications of other people's birthdays, its a choice whether or not I would greet them or not. Even though it was just another day, its a matter of how the day was spent & how the friends, local & world wide choose to make it special for you. I think that is the most important thing. 

CherBear's Thoughts: A Warm August Day...

Well, first off, my apologies. I really haven't posted musing anything since after San Diego Comic Con. I probably will get to that sooner or later. 

The week after Comic Con I've been hanging out w/ family & friends, then there was that event the week after & I think I'm finally winding down.

Unfortunately, its a strangely warmer than usual day here in Sunny San Diego, I shouldn't complain but its uncomfortable. As I had mentioned earlier, its warmer than usual to do anything productive...but I am trying. Not to mention, I am trying to get through all my messages but if it gets unbearable to sit in front of this laptop, I might just hop in front of the fan & continue drawing in my sketchbook. I've been posting what I do end up sketching on my instagram but at the moment, after losing my mind on where my phone charger disappeared to...its finally charging.

Now you ask...why don't I have the AC running? This house...doesn't believe in that, waste of energy & costs money. I don't have much say in this house but still...I'd rather hop into my car, drive around & hop into cool establishments. Something I will be doing either way due to errands I will have to run.

Schools are starting up once again...good luck you guys.

Past that...I dunno. I'm glad my summer is winding down but something's missing...and I haven't figured out what yet.

Oh well, back to trying to get through my messages! Thanks for my random ranting of thoughts ~

CherBear's Thoughts: Off to SDCC 2014

Tomorrow starts a 5 day San Diego Comic Con ongoing...thing. Is that the best way to put it?

Well yes, starting tomorrow; I will be over at San Diego Comic Con for the next 5 days. More or less for better or for worse for a long decade & change like affair. As much as I had said earlier; this is for the experience, hanging out with friends & family. Let's ignore the fact I'll be technically running about helping per say.

No, there's no guide this year, I figure there's enough out there to figure out what is good & what you can gain out of other people's experiences.

Anyways - I will give my own feedback of how things went, this is my last convention to go to for this convention year until 'hibernation'.

     - Been watching PGSM & getting ready for SMC. [Pretty Girl Sailor Moon / Sailor Moon Crystal ].
     - Went to Pen & Paper RP
     - Did a bunch of pencil sketch/requests.
     - Enjoyed watching Girl Meets World.
     - Enjoyed watching Legend of Korra.
     - Still looking for work.
     - Did some commissions.

- Feeling, tired but productive so far.

Overall - looking forward to next month but I won't get into much until tomorrow with the first of July. I figured this would be nice to share what I had been up to throughout this month. Thanks for reading!
